From 12 April to 21 June 2026, treat yourself to an artistic and poetic interlude as you discover the works of Alexia Chevrollier and Perrine Lacroix.
Alexia Chevrollier is an experimental artist. She explores materials through a multidisciplinary, often collaborative practice that blends sculpture, painting, video, photography and installation. For over ten years, the visual artist has been working with a variety of materials – wood, metals, raw earth, plaster, glass – and sometimes draws on the expertise and skills of specialist craftspeople, such as glassmakers and charcoal burners, to understand, master and shape them. Alexia is interested in the way the objects that surround us transform, and she accompanies their metamorphoses, always with care.
Perrine Lacroix creates a multifaceted body of work. Installation, video and photography form the basis of her visual language. With a focus on architecture and construction, she explores the relationships between exterior and interior, finished and unfinished, empty and full. You will have the pleasure of discovering her work ‘Winfried’ from the collection of the FRAC Nouvelle-Aquitaine MECA.
